After a week with the Kentucky football team, senior and former basketball player Ravi Moss has decided to hang up his football cleats and concentrate on academics and basketball he announced Saturday.
?Ravi is ending his football experiment, unfortunately,? UK Coach Rich Brooks said. ?We tried to talk him out of it. He did some real good things and I think he would have done well on the football field.?
?I?ve made a decision to stick with basketball and let these guys take care of football,? Moss said. ?I?m just not ready to put my heart into it. You should go into any sport giving 110 percent and I?m just not ready to make this commitment. I just want to relax and live like a regular college student for a while. I?m going to try and get my grades up and start thinking about pursuing basketball. I?m also looking forward to enjoying this weather.?
Ford Returns to Practice: Wide receiver Demoreo Ford (LaGrange, Ga.) participated in his first practice since missing all but four games last season with a knee injury.
?Demoreo returned to practice today and was able to take part in full contact drills,? UK Coach Rich Brooks said.
