Women's Soccer

The University of Kentucky women?s soccer program will host an Alumni Weekend, Apr. 8-10, as it honors the student-athletes that have had a hand in building the program since its inaugural 1992 season.

The weekend?s events include an Alumni Soccer Game that will pit the current Wildcats against the alumni at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 9, followed by lunch at the UK Soccer Complex. The group will also enjoy an afternoon at Keeneland for live horse racing before the Wildcats host Miami (OH) in the opening game of their spring schedule on Sunday, Apr. 10, at 1 p.m.

Alumni scheduled to attend include Elizabeth (Ramsey) Rowlands (1999-03), Keri Boyce (1999-02), Lauren Russell (2000-03), Aimee (Brown) Raber (1998-01), Margo Hafer (1997-99), Alli Hauessler (2000-04), Kara McCue (2000-03), Jamie Dellbringge (1997-00), Melinda Buemi (1998-01), Kim Bucci (1992-96), Carrie (Landrum) Harper (1994-97), Emily Oetjen (1997-00), Dee Slupski (2001-04), Laura Wendling (2003-04), Annie Gage (1997-01), Susie Ledzianowski (1998-01), Jami Fritter (1999-02), Allison (Peppers) Johnson (1996-99), Amber Wilson (2001-03), Erin Witchey (2000-04), Christal Mattingly (1999-02), Carrie (Staber) Prough (1995-98), Carrie Kuhnell (1995-98), Kate Qually (2000-01), Jess Laswell (2002-04), Deanna Stayton (1996-99), Kim LaBelle (1994-97), Ellen Lord (1997-98), Heather Saas (2000-03) and Courtney (Pollock) McCarty (2001-02).

?We?re excited about the number of alumni that are able to come back this weekend,? head coach Warren Lipka said. ?We haven?t had an Alumni Weekend in about five years so we?re really looking forward to seeing everyone back on campus.?
