INDIANAPOLIS—The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee has sites for the opening round, first and second rounds and regionals of the 2007 and 2008 championships. The administrative committee of the NCAA Championships/Competition Cabinet has approved the sites.

Rupp Arena has been the host to NCAA Tournament games 10 times. The first was the Mideast Region Semifinals in 1977. 2007 will mark the third time Rupp will hold 1st and 2nd round games. The other times were in 1994 (Southeast Region) and 1998 (South Region). In 2002, the South Region semifinals were held at Rupp Arena where Indiana defeated Duke and Kent State to advance to the Final Four.
