Third-ranked Florida claimed each doubles and singles match on its way to a 7-0 victory over No. 20 Kentucky Sunday at the Ring Tennis Complex in Gainesville, Fla. The Cats fall to 11-6 and 3-1 in the SEC while Florida improves to 8-0 and 4-0.

The Gators took each singles match in straight sets, though Kentucky?s Joelle Schwenk, a Coconut Creek, Fla., native, nearly pushed her match at No. 3 to a third set before succumbing to Zerene Reyes in a second-set tiebreaker. Kentucky remains winless in 26 matches against the Gators.

Kentucky welcomes Ohio State for a 4 p.m. match this Wednesday at UK?s Boone Tennis Complex.
