An exciting chapter was added to the 107-year history of baseball at the University of Kentucky when Coach Keith Madison and Director of Athletics Mitch Barnhart introduced the inaugural UK Baseball Dugout Club on Thursday, Sept. 26.
In addition to Madison’s guests, new UK athletics staff members Greg Byrne (Associate Director of Athletics), Rob Mullens (Executive Associate Director of Athletics), and Rick Thompson (Associate Director of Athletics) were introduced to the crowd of over 100 former players, alumni, fans and Bluegrass baseball supporters. Before the festivities, the Dugout Club enjoyed refreshments and a delicious catered lunch by Billy’s BBQ.
In addition to the benefits and activities described below, Championship members will be included in two exclusive events with the 2003 UK baseball team. The members of this level will also receive a beautiful walnut team picture plaque and an autographed Southeastern Conference baseball.
UK Baseball Dugout Club Benefits and Activities:
Official Dugout Club Shirt/T-Shirts
Each adult will receive an official Dugout Club shirt while each dependent child in a Championship or Grand Slam Family membership will receive a Dugout Club t-shirt.
UK Baseball Media Guide
Each member will receive the official 2003 UK baseball media guide, the official yearbook of the Kentucky Wildcats
Dugout Club Luncheons
Luncheons are held monthly (except Dec.) during the fall semester and bi-weekly during the season. The Dugout Club luncheons are great opportunities to meet players and hear the latest from the UK coaches.

Privileged Team Information
Members will receive inside information such as the Wildcats’ strategies, scouting reports and signing system
General Admission Passes
Championship and Grand Slam family memberships will receive two adult general admission passes and up to two student general admission season passes. Wildcat memberships will receive one adult general admission pass.
