The new issue of SLAM Magazine will feature an article on Kentucky seniorsTayshaun Prince and Keith Bogans. The issue, which hits newsstandsSept. 25, also lists the men’s basketball team as the No. 2 team inthe country in its preseason rankings.
The Wildcats, who finished 24-10 last season, return all but oneletterwinner from last year’s squad. All-American and last year’sSoutheastern Conference Player of the Year Tayshaun Prince and second-teamAll-SEC pick Keith Bogans are back to lead the Cats in 2002.
SLAM ranks the Duke Blue Devils as the top team in the country followed byKentucky, Florida, UCLA and Missouri. The other SEC teams in the top 25are Tennessee and Alabama, picked Nos. 12 and 14, respectively.
