Lorenzen Remains Questionable: Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen remains questionable for Saturday’s game vs.Georgia while he recovers from a sprained left (throwing) thumb.
Lorenzen was able to throw the ball during Friday’s 45-minute walk-through practice at Commonwealth Stadium. Coach HalMumme said Lorenzen will be re-evaluated on Saturday and his playing status will be determined at that time.
Lorenzen sprained the thumb during Thursday afternoon’s practice when he hit his thumb on the helmet of another player. X-rays showed no fracture.
