LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 26th-ranked UK women’s tennis team lost to the3rd-ranked Georgia Bulldogs 8-0 on Saturday at the Hilary J. Boone IndoorTennis Center.

Georgia, who boasts four nationally ranked players and two ranked doublespairs, took all six singles contests and both doubles matches.

The Bulldogs improve to 16-1 with an undefeated record in the SoutheasternConference, while UK drops to 11-9 on the year and 2-8 in the SEC.

The Cats will look to rebound and grab a big SEC victory in theirregular-season finale against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Sunday,April 16. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. at the Boone Tennis Center onthe UK campus.
