Whalen Leading the Nation’s Tight Ends: Senior tight end JamesWhalen, Jr., has 25 receptions for 306 yards and five touchdowns thisseason, leading the nation’s tight ends in all three categories. Whalen’s nearest tight end competitors are Brian Natkin ofTexas-El Paso, with 15 receptions, Jason Gavadza of Kent, with 206receiving yards, and Ibn Green of Louisville, with four touchdownreceptions.
