Bonner Named CNN/SI Player of the Week: Sophomore quarterbackDusty Bonner was named CNN/SI Player of the Week in College Footballafter his performance in Saturday’s 44-35 win over Indiana. Bonnercompleted 24 of 31 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns against theHoosiers.

Whalen Leading the Nation’s Tight Ends: Senior tight end JamesWhalen, Jr., has 25 receptions for 306 yards and five touchdowns thisseason, leading the nation’s tight ends in all three categories. Whalen’s nearest tight end competitors are Brian Natkin ofTexas-El Paso, with 15 receptions, Jason Gavadza of Kent, with 206receiving yards, and Ibn Green of Louisville, with four touchdownreceptions.
