KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Kentucky track and field teams concluded play at the Sea Ray Relays Saturday with strong performances from Andrew Channer and Heidi Quast.
Channer finished eighth in the long jump with his mark of 24 feet, one inch. Roland McGhee took home the top spot with his leap of 26 feet, 11inches. Other Wildcat high marks include Suzanne Von Bernuth,s throw of 152 feet in the women,s discus to place sixth and Valerie Williams, and Ola Sesay,s seventh and eighth place leaps in the long jump of 18 feet, 7.25 inches and 18 feet, 5.25 inches, respectively.
