SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.- All five Wildcats competing in the NationalCollegiate Tennis Classic, were defeated in Friday’s competition. MoniqueAllegre was the lone Wildcat to get past the first round of play bydefeating Petya Miranova of UCLA, 3-6, 7-6(1), 6-3. Allegre was ousted fromthe tournament in the second round falling to Anita Kurimay of Cal, 6-1, 6-2.

In other singles action, Nadine Rastetter of Pepperdine defeated JoannaBuczkowska, 6-2, 6-1. Lindsay Blau fell to Amanda Augustus of Cal, 6-2,6-0. Vanessa Abel was ousted by Teryn Ashley of Stanford, 6-2, 6-1. AmandaBasica of UCLA was victorious in her match with Laresa Marino, 6-0, 6-1.
