- Ali Tied for the SEC Lead in Sacks – Senior defensive end Bamidele Ali is tied for the Southeastern Conference lead in quarterback sacks, according to statistics released by the league office. Ali has five sacks for 49 yards of losses. Ali is tied with Mississippi State defensive end Greg Favors, last year’s SEC sack champion, who has five sacks for minus-47.
- Gary Leads SEC Defensive Backs in Tackles – Freshman free safety Willie Gary leads all Southeastern Conference defensive backs in tackles with 45. South Carolina free safety Arturo Freeman is second among SEC defensive backs with 41 stops.
- Northeast Louisiana Game Not Selected for Television – Kentucky’s Homecoming game against Northeast Louisiana on Oct. 18 was not selected for live broadcast by the television networks. Therefore, game time will remain at 7 p.m.
- Tickets Update – Oct. 18 vs. Northeast Louisiana: Sideline seats ($20) and end zone seats ($16) are available. Nov. 1 vs. Louisiana State: Less than 1,000 end zone tickets ($16) remain. There are no sideline tickets available. Nov. 22 vs. Tennessee: Public tickets are sold out.
