The Frank G. Ham Society of Character award, established in 1999, recognizes University of Kentucky student-athletes who give their best to everything they do.

Named for the late Frank G. Ham, a longtime UK Athletics coach and administrator, the award honors student-athletes who show a profound commitment to the following areas: academic excellence, athletic participation, personal development, community service, and career preparation.

Since 1999, the Society of Character has inducted a total of 414 University of Kentucky student-athletes into this prestigious fraternity.
