LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer standouts Brad Doliner, Callum Irving, Napo Matsoso and Steven Perinovic earned All-Conference USA accolades in a voting of the league coaches, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Irving, UK’s sophomore goalkeeper, earned the first-team accolade among the loop netminders, marking the second first-team All-Conference USA goalkeeper in program history and the first since Andy Gruenebaum in 2005. Doliner, a senior midfielder, and Perinovic, a senior center back, earned second-team All-Conference USA, with midfielder Napo Matsoso voted to the C-USA All-Freshman Team.

A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Irving has started 14 games in 2013 in goal, owning a 1.18 goals-against average with 39 saves and five shutouts. While guiding a youthful backline that typically starts three freshmen, Irving has posted the 12th best goals-against average and the 11th most shutouts in single-season program history. Already in his career, Irving ranks eighth in school annals in goals-against average (1.30).

Doliner, a native of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, is in his fifth year with the Wildcats. During his breakout senior season, Doliner has netted his first five career goals, adding one assist, playing in 16 games. He has gone a perfect 3-for-3 on penalty kick attempts on the year and has fired 35 shots. Doliner has been a versatile workhorse for the UK lineup in 2013, seeing starts at center back, outside back, holding midfield, outside midfield and forward.

Matsoso, born in Lesotho, and a product of St. Francis High School in Louisville, Ky., earned C-USA All-Freshman Team honors after starting all 18 games in the midfield or at forward. He owns one goal and four assists, firing 29 shots.

Perinovic, a native of Delafield, Wis., has played in 77 games in his career, the 10th-most in program history. UK’s senior co-captain at center back, Perinovic is honored on the All-Conference USA Team for the second consecutive season, earning first-team accolades in 2012. Perinovic has two goals and two assists in his career, including one goal as a senior. As a weapon in the air with great instincts, athleticism and timing, Perinovic necessitated a new statistical category in 2013, winning 77-percent  (138-of-180) of his contested header attempts.

Kentucky returns to action on Wednesday in the first round of the C-USA Tournament, hosted by Charlotte, facing off with No. 2 seed Old Dominion at 5:30 p.m. ET at Transamerica Field.
