- UK tied at 53 but K.J. Riley’s 3-pointer with 7:15 on the clock put the Purple Aces ahead for good.
- Noah Frederking’s 3-pointer from the left corner with 4:33 to go extended UE to 61-55.
- A driving layup by Maxey with eight seconds left pulled UK within one at 65-64.
- Cunliffe’s two foul shots with 6.8 seconds made the score 67-64 and UK missed a 3 to tie.
