Kentucky STUNT to Host Coast to Coast Showdown
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team will continue its 2026 campaign by hosting the Coast to Coast Showdown at Historic Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Cats will face Davenport University on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. to open the weekend in a battle of two of the nation’s top teams. On Friday, UK will battle the University of Central Arkansas at 1:15 p.m. followed by UT Martin at 5:45 p.m.
On Saturday, Kentucky faces two more opponents to close out the weekend. UK will face South Carolina at 1:30 p.m. and Jessup University at 4:30 p.m. At approximately 3:45 p.m., prior to the Jessup game, Kentucky will hold its Senior Day ceremony recognizing the program’s senior athletes and staff.
These will be Kentucky’s last games of the regular season, with the Mid America West Conference Tournament coming up April 10-12. The Cats are 21-2 this season and have won their past 12 games.
STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States and will have NCAA championship status in 2027.
