LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky swimming & diving program looks toward the challenges ahead this week as they split up for their respective competitions. The divers competing this weekend include Avery Giese, Devynn Bishop, Kristy Pfaff, Landon Isler, Rock Sweet, and Tyler Bobadilla. Giese, a sophomore, and Bishop, a junior, have led the way so far for the dive Cats, notching top three finishes in the 1M and 3M diving events at various meets already. The dive meet will run from Dec. 10-16, with details on the event available here.

On the swim side, the head-to-head with Tennessee will be on Thursday, Dec. 11. The Wildcats have seen strong performances from many individuals, including the record-breaking performances of senior Fernanda De Goeij, junior Libby Grether, freshman Falemana Tuufui, freshman Lysander Osman, and many more. The meet will begin at Tennessee at 2 p.m., and live results will be available on the Meet Mobile App.

The last meet that the Wildcats competed in as a team was on Nov. 18-21 at the Ohio State Midseason Invitational, where the women’s team finished fourth and the men finished seventh. Kentucky swimming and diving hopes to make one last splash before the new year this week and looks forward to improving times and scores as always.
