LEXINGTON, Kty. – Dustin Wynn, a kickingspecialist from Middlesboro, Ky., has been admitted to the University ofKentucky and has enrolled in classes after being certified foreligibility by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
Originally, Wynn signed with the Wildcats in Feb. 1999 but didnot enroll for the ’99 fall semester. He will participate in springpractice and have four years of eligibility beginning with the 2000season. He will compete for the starting duties for placekicking andpunting following the departure of kicker Marc Samuel and All-SEC punterAndy Smith.

Bob Gain Named to All-Century Team: Bob Gain, who was a tackleand placekicker for Kentucky from 1947-50, has been named to theAll-Century Team selected by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Six offensive tackles were named to the All-Century Team,including Gain, Orlando Pace and John Hicks of Ohio State, Ron Yary ofSouthern California, Dan Dierdorf of Michigan, and Bill Fralic ofPittsburgh.
Gain was selected to the Walter Camp All-America Team in 1950.He also won the Outland Trophy in 1950 as the nation’s top offensivelineman, the first Southeastern Conference player to win that honor.Gain helped the Wildcats reach three bowl games during his four seasonsat UK.
Bob is retired and lives with his wife, Kitty, in the Cleveland,Ohio, area. He played for the Cleveland Browns from 1952-64.
