Kentucky Featured on ESPN Networks Five Times in Clearwater
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team will be returning to the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational presented by EvoShield for the third time in 2025 and will be featured on ESPN and its Family of Networks for all five games during the second week of the season.
Kentucky will play once on each of the SEC Network, ACC Network and ESPN2 with its final two games on Friday and Saturday shown live on ESPN+. Disney+ will also air Kentucky’s first two games of the event Thursday as an alternative screening to the linear broadcasts as the Wildcats face Wichita State and Virginia on opening day of the tournament.
Matt Schumacker and former Texas A&M All-American, Amanda Scarbrough, will be on the call for both of Kentucky’s games Thursday that air on the SEC and ACC Networks at field 9 of the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater, Florida.
The Women’s College World Series team of Beth Mowins, Michele Smith and Jessica Mendoza will call Kentucky’s first-ever softball game vs. Clemson on Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN+ from field 8. UK’s final two games of the tournament will be on ESPN+ with Schumacker and Scarbrough picking up the mic again for the Wildcats rematch with Oklahoma State at 6 p.m. ET Friday on field 9 and Mark Neely and Danielle Lawrie calling the finale Saturday afternoon vs. UCLA on field 3 Saturday at Noon ET.
