Kentucky STUNT Hosts Blue/White Scrimmage on Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team will kick off its fourth season with the Blue/White scrimmage this Saturday, Jan. 10, at Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. and the scrimmage will begin at 4 p.m. Admission is free and fans should enter through the Lexington Avenue entrance to Historic Memorial Coliseum. Parking is available in the Joe Craft Center lot.

STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States.

The UK STUNT team, which has finished as national runner-up the last two seasons, will begin its regular season in Lexington on Feb. 1, hosting the Bluegrass Classic at Historic Memorial Coliseum. The Cats face Trevecca Nazarene in their first game of the season.
