The NCAA has reduced the suspension of senior linebacker Jamal White from four games to two games.

In gathering information for White’s appeal, which would have taken place next week, the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement Staff re-evaluated his situation and elected to reduce his suspension.

“This decision by the reinstatement staff is extremely fair, therefore Jamal and the University of Kentucky have withdrawn our request for appeal,” said Sandy Bell, UK Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.
