What to Know for the Blue-White Preseason Event

Club Blue, a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective that benefits UK Athletes, is excited to welcome you to the newly renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum on Friday for the reimagined Kentucky Basketball Blue-White Preseason Event, presented by the Harrodsburg Tourism Commission. Doors open at 5 p.m. ET and the event begins at 6 p.m. ET.

For the first time, the men’s and women’s basketball preseason events will be combined, showcasing both teams together.

The event will take place in the renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum, a venue steeped in Kentucky Basketball history. The $85-million renovation enhances the experience and provides a special atmosphere for fans – and the men’s basketball team returning to one of its historic homes is unique and exciting.

Club Blue Merchandise will be sold on the Lexington Ave concourse side of HMC.

Kentucky Basketball yearbooks will be on sale on both the Rose Street and Lexington Avenue side of HMC.

Please read the following for important event information to best navigate the many updates to Historic Memorial Coliseum. Construction is still ongoing around the outer perimeter of Historic Memorial Coliseum so please proceed with caution.

Mobile Ticketing Reminders

You can access your tickets by downloading the official UK Athletics App to your mobile device. The app is available for free on both Apple and Android devices. You may also access tickets by visiting UKathletics.com/MyUKAccount on your phone’s web browser. If you purchased through Ticketmaster, you may access your tickets via the Ticketmaster App or by visiting Ticketmaster.com.

iPhone & Android users will need to check that their app is up to date. You can check for updates in the App Store or Google Play store.

Please also note that if you are using our app for the first time, you may be prompted to set up an app profile. The app profile is optional and is separate from your ticketing account.

To access your tickets:

  1. Tap the “Tickets” icon in the bottom right corner of the home screen.
  2. Select “Manage My Tickets – Public” and sign into your My UK Account with the email address, (%%Email%%), associated with your tickets.
  3. Once you’re signed in, you will see your events to view & manage!

Important Tip: If you do not have automatic app updates enabled, be sure to update to the most recent version of the UK Athletics App to ensure you are able to manage your tickets.

SafeTix Information

SafeTix™ will be implemented as an additional feature on mobile tickets. To fight fraud, Ticketmaster launched SafeTix™, which uses an encrypted barcode that automatically refreshes every 15 seconds so the barcode cannot be stolen and used by another fan.

Your mobile tickets will now show a unique barcode with a blue line running across it, and they will convert to a tap-and-go ticket when stored in your phone’s digital wallet. The process for accessing mobile tickets has not changed; however, with SafeTix™, screenshots or recordings of tickets will no longer work for entry. This enhancement protects against digital tickets being copied and sold multiple times by fraudulent resellers. Fans may still transfer tickets through their accounts and the UK Athletics app or their My UK Athletics Account.
