Madison on Kunkel: ?Adam is a left-handed pitcher that was impressive during fall practice. He has a good sinking fastball and has the ability to throw the breaking ball for a strike and that?s usually a winning combination for a lefty. We?re excited to have Adam on our pitching staff.?

High School: Voted All-Region as an outfielder by the 9th region coaches? Selected Most Valuable Player his senior season at Covington Catholic? Recipient of the prestigious Covington Catholic Captain?s Award? Member of the 9th region All-Tournament team.

Chose Kentucky because it is in the SEC and has outstanding academic programs and because he is from Kentucky and has always loved the Wildcats?
