NASSAU, Bahamas – Ticket packages for the Kentucky men’s basketball team’s return trip to The Bahamas in 2016 to play Arizona State on Nov. 28, which are still on sale, now include an open practice invitation on the day before the game.
Ticket packages and room reservations are available by calling 1-888-877-7525. More information, including seating chart info, is available at atlantisbahamas.com/basketball.
Included in the trip will be an open practice on Sunday, Nov. 27 in the Bahamas for all fans who purchase a ticket package through the Atlantis. A time will be announced at a later time.
“I would like the Bahamas to be a family trip,” UK head coach John Calipari said. “… Bring your kids. Let’s make this a terrific weekend. You’re on the island. You’re in a great venue. It’s a great setup. I understand the New York, and I understand the Vegas but I think this is going to be the trip. And again, I want it to be like a family. We’re all in there, you’re watching practice, you’re getting to get around the kids and get around our staff. Have a function, do something down there where we all get together before we play that game, which will be played on a Monday.”
UK will take on the Sun Devils for the second year in a row as part of a two-year series. After playing in Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, for the 2015-16 season, the two teams will face each other again this year on Nov. 28 at the beautiful Atlantis Paradise Island resort in The Bahamas.
The game will be played at the resort’s 3,800-seat temporary arena located in the Imperial Ballroom, site of the annual Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. Special room rates and discounted tickets starting at $99 are now available by calling 1-888-877-7525. Fans are encouraged to book room and ticket packages through the Atlantis for the best rates.
Kentucky is 4-0 all-time vs. Arizona State following the Wildcats’ victory in Lexington last December. This season’s matchup marked the first meeting between the two schools since 2002 in Maui, Hawaii.
UK’s return to The Bahamas in 2016 follows a memorable six-game exhibition tour to start the 2014-15 season. The Wildcats built the foundation for a special and historic 38-1 season with a 5-1 exhibition tour, including victories over the Dominican Republic National Team, the Puerto Rico National Team reserves, and Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, a professional team from France.
The Atlantis is located on Nassau’s Paradise Island, home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The Atlantis offers a variety of room accommodations and an array of culinary experiences with world-class dining that includes 40 restaurants and lounges, including Nobu, Café Martinique (Jean-Georges) and Olives (Todd English).

Home to Aquaventure, a 141-acre waterscape comprised of fresh and saltwater lagoons, pools and habitats, the Atlantis is one of the largest open-air marine habitats in the world with more than 50,000 marine life and 250 species.
