Summer 2024 Kentucky Diving Personalized Skills Camp
The Kentucky Diving Personalized Skills Camp is back for the 2024 Summer! Our camp will be personalized utilizing input from the parent, diver, and (if available), the diver’s home coach to identify primary learning goals for the camp. Once the primary goals are identified we will build a lesson plan for the 3 days to maximize learning of those specific skills!
Camp Staff:
Ted Hautau UK Head Diving Coach * 15th Season
- 2015 and 2021 SEC Diving Coach of the Year.
- Coach Hautau’s divers have achieved 43 All-American honors at the NCAA Championship level and multiple SEC Championships.
- Coach 2023 World Championships – Fukuoka, Japan. Coached Julia Vincent from South Africa – 2 Finals, 1 Olympic 3m Qualification spot earned for South Africa
- Coach 2024 World Championships – Doha, Qatar. Coached Julia Vincent from South Africa – 1 Final, Career best finish 3m.
- Over 32 years of experience coaching collegiate and club level.
Cara Wu UK Grad Asst Coach * 2nd Season
- 2019 World University Games Champion 3m, Napoli, Italy
- 2021 China National Team Champions – Guangdong Provincial Team
- 2017 3m Bronze Medal- China National Championships
- Multiple International Gold medals at FINA Grand Prixs and other events.
- Helped lead UK Divers to record breaking scores and career best finishes at the NCAA Championships 2023.
Facility:
- Dive Camps will utilize the University of Kentucky’s state-of the-art spotting equipment – Trampoline and Dry Board spotting harnesses and 3m Over the Water Spotting Harness.
- State of the Art Video feedback – Sideline Scout system 3 stations in Dry Land and 3 stations in the Water.
- Dry Platform and Portable Pit Somersaulting and landing areas along with Panel Mats and Various Specific Conditioning Equipment for Diving to teach in a safe and productive atmosphere.
- Lancaster Aquatic Center
Full Set of Olympic Platforms, 3m and 1m boards on cement stands, Water Sprayers,
3m Water Spotting Harness, Cameras and Video Feedback for each diving level, Hot Water Showers and Spectator Viewing area for Parents and Friends.

June 7,8,9 $495 Online payment.

All non-Covid-19 Cancellations see below:
Campers will receive a full refund with doctor’s note in case of injury or illness (non-COVID related). Without a doctor’s note, full refunds will be issued minus the $100 deposit if more than 7 days advance notice. Any cancellations non-COVID related within 7 days of camp result in no refund, unless a doctor’s note is presented.

- Parents may view the camp in the Spectator area on the 2nd Floor
- Parents may drop off divers for duration of camp. Please make food arrangements for break (send a lunch or organize delivery). Lunch may be eaten in spectator area or outside but not on deck. We will
have a staff member present during lunch in the building. We are not responsible for anyone who leaves the building.
MEDICAL INFO & REQUIREMENTS
UK camps require the following forms to be completed prior to participation:
- Registration & Payment (online only)
- Copy of Physical Form or proof of a physical from your physician (must be signed by a physician in the last 12 months)
- Copy of the front and back of health insurance card (can attach online at registration site)
