No. 15 Kentucky Looks to Prove Itself Again at No. 22 Ole Miss
No. 15 Kentucky will seek to win its third Southeastern Conference series in as many tries when it travels to No. 22 Ole Miss this weekend in its second consecutive road series. The Wildcats took two of three at Missouri last weekend.
All three games will stream on the SECN+, including Sunday afternoon’s Easter tilt.
Kentucky (21-4, 5-1 SEC) is coming off a wild 9-5 win over Miami University on Tuesday night, drawing 14 walks and five hit by pitch along the way, including five straight with two outs in the seventh inning trailing by three runs. It was the second-most walks UK has earned in a game since the 2007 season.
The Rebels (18-8, 3-3) sit at .500 in the conference after winning a home series vs. South Carolina and then dropping a pair of games at Tennessee last weekend. The last time these teams met, Ole Miss took two of three in Lexington in 2022.
UK remains undecided on a starter for Friday night but will keep the status quo with lefty Dom Niman on Saturday and RHP Mason Moore on Sunday.
