Coach Collins on Brian – “This is Brian’s second year here at UK since transferring. His game really came on in the spring. He has great skill, great pace. He needs to work hard on his defensive game, but he should be a definite factor for us this season.”

2002 – Played in eight matches in the Wildcat attack during his first year at Kentucky… Took three shots.

2000-01 – Played for Hartwick College… Saw action in five games as a freshman and six as a sophomore… Tallied first collegiate assist as a freshman against Iona.

Pre-College – Four-year letter winner at Hawken School… As a senior was a high school All-American, the Greater Cleveland Player of the Year and the Ohio Division II Player of the Year… Helped Hawken reach Ohio state finals three times… Hawken’s second all-time leading career scorer with 198 points on 78 goals and 42 assists… Also saw action with the Ohio ODP state team for three years, as well as the Internationals Soccer Club and the Medina Rangers.

Personal – Born Oct. 19, 1981… Parents are Catherine and Ronald Carmany… Plans to major in management.
