2001 – Played in 19 games, starting three… Tied for eighth on the team with five points on one goal and three assists… Single goal came in 3-0 win over Marshall… Assisted on game-tying goal against Ohio State to send the game to overtime and assisted one of his brother Chris? school-record four goals against Georgetown (Ky.) College… Member of SEC Academic Honor Roll.
1998-1999 – Played for Nova Southeastern University… The Knights won the region title and advanced to the national tournament in 1999.
Pre-College – Participated in the Copa Latina and the Gold Coast Soccer League (Miami, Fla.) with the Argentinos United Soccer Club… Was a Venezuelan national selection with Copa la Amistad in 1989 and 1990… At Western High School, was an All-County and All-State honoree, while being voted MVP and Best Offensive Player his senior season.
Personal – Born Feb. 21, 1979, in Caracas, Venezuela… Parents are Margarita and Juan Antonio Soler… Brother Chris also plays for the Cats… Is a business management major.
