Women’s Tennis Faces Pair of Weekend Road Matches

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis (4-1) will travel to New York, N.Y. to take on Columbia University (3-1) Friday at 1 p.m. EST at the Philip & Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center.

Friday’s contest will be followed by the second matchup of the weekend on Sunday at Princeton University (2-1) at the Lenz Tennis Center at 1:30 p.m.

The Wildcats are coming off a strong showing at the Carolina Regional of the 2024 ITA Kickoff Weekend in Chapel Hill, N.C. Kentucky defeated Charlotte 4-3 on the first day of competition but fell 0-4 to No. 1-ranked UNC on the second day.

Columbia enters Friday’s competition after defeating Penn State last Saturday, 6-1, in New York. Meanwhile, Princeton will head into Sunday following a match against Temple on Friday afternoon.
