A versatile player in high school at Norger toppidrettsgymnas (Norwegian College of Elite Sport) … scoring 23 goals and dishing eight assist in only 10 matches for Fløya as a striker … Krogstad was a national champion for the U-19 squad in 2010, winning the Honorary Pride Award (best athlete and student) for the 2011 season. … During the club season’s Krogstad played for TIL 2 (Tromsø Idrettslag) for coach Rune Martinussenog Thomas Hafsad from 2006-2011, when with the club as a left and right back in 2011 he scored four goals and handing out five assists while playing in 16 matches … The 2010 campaign saw Krogstad help lead TIL 2 to a fifth-place finish in the second division in Norway as well as getting the quarterfinals of the Junior Elite tournament.
