Kentucky sophomore diver Taryn Ignacio earned national recognition last week after winning two Southeastern Conference diving titles last month in Gainesville, Fla.
Ignacio, a Richmond, Ky., native, appeared on the ?Faces in the Crowd? page of the Feb. 28, 2005 edition of Sports Illustrated, which is currently on newsstands. The magazine cited Ignacio?s effort in becoming the first UK diver to win multiple conference titles in a single meet. Ignacio?s two titles, coupled with junior Jessica Thompson?s conference title in the three-meter event, gave Kentucky its first sweep of the women?s diving events at the SEC Championships.
12 Cats Slated for NCAA Competition

The women?s NCAA championships are slated for Mar. 17-19 at Purdue, and the men?s NCAA championships will be held Mar. 24-26 at Minnesota.
