2001 – Saw action in 15 games, starting two… Second on the team in goals with seven and tied for second with 15 points… Broke UK record with four goals against Georgetown (Ky.) College to become just the fourth Cat in school history to score a hat trick… Scored game-winners against No. 15 Furman and Bowling Green… Assisted on brother Chael?s first goal as a Cat against Marshall.

2000 – Started five of the 19 games in which he appeared… Tied for the team lead in assists with four and second in points with eight… Three of his four assists led to game-winning goals including one on the clincher against Louisville to give the Cats their 100th win in school history and one against Bowling Green in overtime to clinch a share of the MAC regular-season title… Tallied a goal and an assist in 4-0 win over Northern Illinois… Took 17 shots on the year.

Pre-College – A four-year letterwinner at Western High School… Was voted Outstanding Newcomer his freshman season… As a sophomore, led team in goals scored, earning honor as team?s best offensive player and being named second team All-County… Earned best individual performance honor his senior season… Member of the Hispanic Honor Society.

Personal – Born May 14, 1982, in Caracas, Venezuela… Parents are Margarita and Juan Antonio Soler… Also goes by the nickname Chi Chi… Brother Chael joins the Cats this season… Likes to play drums and guitar, and enjoys surfing and football.
