BATON ROUGE, La. – University of Kentucky?s Ali Kicklighter fired a career-low one-under-par 71 for the second day of play at the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La. Kicklighter led the women?s team to a second-round 303 to end day two tied for eighth. The Cats are tied with Ole Miss with two-day total of 614. LSU continues to lead the 16-team field at ten-over-par, after shooting 290 for the second day.

The Tigers completed play Saturday with a two-day total of 586, 13 strokes ahead of Tulane 599 (302-297). North Carolina State 604 (303-301) holds third, while the College of Charleston 606 (309-297) is fourth. Mississippi State (312-295) and Vanderbilt (305-302) are tied for fifth with totals of 607. Birmingham Southern 609 (305-304) is five shots ahead of UK (311-303) and Ole Miss (307-307).

Kicklighter carded three-over-par 147 (76-71) for the two days and is tied for ninth, moving up 11 places from Friday. Freshman Beth Felts sits tied for 26th, after shooting 152 (77-75), while fellow freshman Elizabeth Dotson is tied for 51st overall 158 (79-79). Sophomore Alanna Silvertrust, who is playing as an individual, fired a career-low 77 for the second round, finishing with a two-day total of 156 (79-77). Silvertrust is tied for 40th after two days of play. Sophomore Katie Johnson improved by three strokes from day one to card a two-day total of 159 (81-79), while senior Katie Dixon shot a two-day total of 161 (79-82).

Sunday?s final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
