LEXINGTON, Ky. –

Outside hitter Sarah Mendoza leads the Wildcats with 215 kills on the season. She averages 3.63 points per game and is second on the team with 167 digs. Mendoza has seen action in all of Kentucky’s 67 sets and was named SEC Offensive Volleyball Player of the Week twice this season after her performances against Alabama and Mississippi State, and again after Florida and South Carolina. After recording 16 kills against Auburn last season, she was named an SEC Freshman of the Week.

I like the coaches and this is a beautiful area.

What is your major and career goals?

Art Studio is my major. I want to be a Graphic Designer.
