Kentucky Softball Unveils 2022 Fall Schedule

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team announced its fall schedule for the 2022-23 season Wednesday afternoon, capped by its annual Big Blue Boo game on October 29 against the Louisville Cardinals.

Kentucky opens its fall competition at Hood Field in Richmond, Kentucky as the Wildcats play Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 18. The home opener for the fall will be against Georgetown College on Sept. 23 at John Cropp Stadium.

Kentucky will host Campbellsville on Sept. 29 to close the month of September before turning the page to October where the Wildcats will travel to Dayton to play the Flyers on the first of the month.

UK will close with a home-and-home against Louisville on Oct. 9 (at UofL) and then Oct. 29 (John Cropp Stadium).

The Cats and Cards game on Oct. 29 will serve as UK Softball’s annual celebration of Halloween with a Big Blue Boo celebration. More details on that game will be announced later.

All fall games at John Cropp Stadium are free admission with no seating assignments. Gates will open an hour prior to scheduled to first pitch.

Sept. 18 – at Eastern Kentucky; 1pm ET

Sept. 23 – vs. Georgetown; 6pm ET

Sept. 29 – vs. Campbellsville; 6pm ET

Oct. 1 – at Dayton; 11am ET

Oct. 9 – at Louisville; 1pm ET

Oct. 29 – vs. Louisville (Big Blue Boo); 6pm ET
