• Three-year letterman and starter at Boardman High School under head coaches Joe Ignazio (2019, 2020) and Seth Antram (2021)
• Two-dimensional football player, performing at both running back and safety for the Spartans
• Through just nine games his senior season, he rushed for 967 yards and scored seven touchdowns, while he also recorded 51 tackles, including seven tackles for loss on defense
• Named to the All-American Conference (AAC) Defensive First Team (safety) and All-Northeast Inland District Offensive Second Team (running back) his senior season and an All-District Honorable Mention his junior season
• Was also a four-year letterwinner on the wrestling team, where he set the school record for most career wins at 167
• Named the AAC Most Valuable Wrestler and AAC First Team selection with his 45-4 record in 2021-22
• Won the AAC Championship in his weight class all four years in high school
