  • Jocelyn Grimsley returned to the Kentucky Football program in a new role in the summer of 2024 as the on-campus recruiting assistant.
  • Prior to her current role, she served as an academic services assistant for one season in the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services (C.A.T.S.) for men and women’s track and field and women’s tennis at UK Athletics (2023-24).
  • She previously spent five seasons (2019-23) as a student worker in the football office with coaching video coordinator Christian Fiero.
  • Gained other valuable experiences in athletics by serving as a festival support intern for the Orange Bowl Committee (2023) and a game night intern for the Louisville Bats (2023).
  • Currently also serves as a Second Lieutenant in the Kentucky Army National Guard after joining the Guard in September of 2020.
  • Earned the Armed Forces Bank Award in 2022, presented for best demonstrated respect for other cultures and people by effectively utilizing the training scenarios to demonstrate a mastery of cross-cultural competencies as they related to a complex environment.
  • Held several leadership positions as a student at UK, including president of the Black Student Union, vice president of Underground Perspective, KHP ambassador for the College of Education and a K-5 mentor for Common Good Lexington.
  • Earned the inaugural 2024 Sarah Bennett Holmes 30 Under 30 award along with fellow UK alumna Raena Worley and Rhyne Howard. The award is bestowed upon UK faculty, staff, & graduate students who have achieved professional and personal success while promoting the growth and well-being of all women at the University of Kentucky and beyond.
  • A proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
  • Graduated in May of 2023 from Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and a double minor in coaching & community and leadership development.
  • Named to the Dean’s List in the Spring of 2020.
