• Evan Griskowitz (pronounced GRIS-co-witz) enters his first season as the director of sports medicine/head football athletic trainer after being promoted to the position in the summer of 2023.
• Began at Kentucky in 2017 as a graduate assistant for the Wildcats’ football and rifle teams.
• After earning a master’s degree in health science/athletic training at UK in 2019, began his full-time career as the assistant director of sports medicine for football and men’s golf at Eastern Kentucky.
• Returned to the Blue and White in May of 2020 as the assistant athletic trainer for football before being promoted to senior athletic trainer in March of 2021.
• Along with his day-to-day football duties as the senior athletic trainer, also served as the supervisor of the assistant athletic trainers for football and baseball.
• Prior to UK, spent two years (2015-16) as a seasonal intern for the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks where he became proficient in techniques and modalities such as Graston, Positional Release Therapy and Blood Flow Restriction and Cupping.
• Garnered a plethora of athletic training experiences with several teams and organizations, including NCAA Zones C Diving Championships host (2021), Wesley Woodyard Football Camp (2019), Kentucky Men’s Basketball Summer Camp (2019), Kentucky Men’s Basketball Practice and Exhibition Game (2018), Kentucky Blue Grass State Soccer Games (2017, 2018), West Ham United F.C. host at the Seattle Seahawks facility (2016) and Delaware 87ers volunteer, a former NBA D-League Team (2014).
• The Newark, Delaware native served as a student athletic trainer at the University of Delaware before graduating with a degree in athletic training in 2015.
• Married to Jenna Griskowitz, of Wilmington, Delaware, and the couple have one daughter, Lola.
