  • Drake Jackson enters his first season as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, working primarily with the offensive line and assistant coach Zach Yenser
  • Returns to the Bluegrass after one season on NFL practice squads with the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams
  • Former Wildcat (2016-20) center who helped lead UK to 37 wins (most in a five-season span since 1949-53), 20 SEC games (most in a five-year span in school history) and five straight bowl games, tying the school record
  • Four-year letter winner (2017-20)
  • Played in 47 career games with 44 consecutive starts on the “Big Blue Wall”
  • Earned All-America Honorable Mention honors by Phil Steele as a senior after grading at 85.7 percent with 40 knockdowns and 188 blocks at the point of attack
  • Also named First-Team All-SEC by Pro Football Focus and Second-Team All-SEC by the Associated Press, SEC Coaches and Phil Steele in 2020
  • Elected as one of 10 team captains as a senior
  • Named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List for the nation’s top center in 2020
  • Named to Outland Trophy Watch List for the nation’s top interior lineman in both 2019 and 2020
  • Helped UK set single-season school records with 3,624 rushing yards, 36 rushing touchdowns, and 6.3 yards per carry as a junior in 2019
  • Earned First-Team All-SEC by the AP and Athlon Sports in 2019
  • The Versailles, Kentucky native graduated in December of 2019 with a degree in agricultural economics and earned a master’s degree in kinesiology and health promotion in December of 2020
  • Named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2019
  • Currently working on a second master’s degree at UK
