LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky women’s soccer team (8-5-3, 4-2-3 SEC) will conclude its regular season with a match against No. 20 Arkansas (7-4-4, 5-1-3 SEC) at the Bell Soccer Complex on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU.
Kentucky owns the all-time series record against Arkansas, going 13-11-2 throughout the past three decades. The Razorbacks defeated the Cats in their most recent meeting on Oct. 27, 2022, with Arkansas winning 6-0 on its home pitch. Kentucky has not taken down Arkansas in Lexington since Sept. 27, 2015.
So far this campaign, the Wildcats have earned a record of 8-5-3, including a conference mark of 4-2-3. The Cats added three points to their SEC standing last week, defeating Ole Miss 4-0 on Friday, Oct. 23. With 15 points, Kentucky sits in a three-way tie with Oklahoma and Auburn. Arkansas ranks just one place ahead of the Cats in the conference standings with 18 points. Although Kentucky has already secured a spot to play in the SEC Tournament in Pensacola, Fla., the result of Sunday’s battle will determine seeding.
As a team, Kentucky ranks in the top 25 nationally in three key offensive categories: total goals (11th NCAA, 3rd SEC, 41), scoring offense (10th NCAA, 3rd SEC, 2.56), corner kicks per game (23rd NCAA, 3rd SEC, 6.94) and goal differential (24th NCAA, 3rd SEC, 22). Additionally, Kentucky is the only team to have three different players rank in the top 10 in the SEC in total goals: Kyla Dawn (T4, 10), Juliette Rayo (T8, 7) and Nadia Ramadan (T8, 7).
Sophomore goalkeeper Megan Holland was recognized as the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week after her dynamic performances against then-No. 21 Auburn and Tennessee. Over the two matches, Holland recorded 12 saves and a shutout. The Illinois native notched a career high of six saves in both road battles. Throughout this campaign, the goalkeeper has logged five matches with five or more saves. With 52 total saves on the season, Holland currently sits in second in the conference for total saves recorded and third in the SEC for saves per game, averaging 3.250 saves.
For her play in the comeback victory over No. 25 Texas, Elise Ernest was crowned SEC Freshman of the Week on Monday, Oct. 12. This is the third time the honor was picked up by a Wildcat, with Kyla Dawn supplying the other two. Both freshmen made immediate impacts at Kentucky, starting in every match this season. Dawn currently ranks 30th in the nation in total goals with 10, the third-most by a freshman in the NCAA and the second most in the SEC. In the conference, the Dallas native ties for fourth in both total goals and game-winning goals (4).
Also contributing at a high level is senior midfielder Nadia Ramadan. The transfer from Alabama has played in every single match this campaign, starting in 13 and scoring seven goals for the Wildcats. The consistent core for Kentucky is led by Katherine Truitt, Michelle Moskau, Juliette Rayo and Lexi Tylenda, who each have started in every match and recorded over 1,000 minutes of play this campaign.
The Razorbacks have gone 7-4-4 in 2026, posting a conference record of 5-1-3. Last time out, Arkansas picked up a road win at Oklahoma, outscoring the Sooners 3-1. The Hogs have gone unbeaten in the SEC for the past seven matches. Head coach Colby Hale is at the helm of the squad, coaching in his 15th season. 5th-year forward Zoe Susi and sophomore forward/midfielder Molly Teed lead the team in scoring, each recording five goals this campaign.
The match will be themed as a costume contest. Candy will be given out, and fans are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Additionally, the first 150 fans who arrive at the Bell will receive free pizza.
