Weather Advisory for Saturday’s Kentucky-LSU Football Game
LEXINGTON, Ky. – As always, Kentucky Athletics is closely monitoring weather conditions. At this time, Saturday’s Kentucky football game vs. LSU remains scheduled as planned with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. Should conditions change, UK Athletics will communicate updates.
Rainy and windy conditions are expected throughout portions of Saturday. Due to the forecast, the halftime drone show will be rescheduled for a future home game.
UK Team Shop locations outside Gate 4 and inside Kroger Field throughout the concourses will be selling rain gear, including blue ponchos, while supplies last, in keeping with the game’s Blue-Out theme. Umbrellas are not permitted inside Kroger Field.
Fans attending Saturday’s game should prepare accordingly:
- Prepare for rain. Fans are encouraged to bring appropriate rain gear and dress for cooler temperatures.
- Secure tailgating items. Tents, canopies and other loose items should be properly secured. Fans should not leave unsecured tents or loose items behind when entering Kroger Field.
- Monitor Cat Walk information. The Cat Walk could be moved indoors to Nutter Field House due to weather. Additional information will be shared if that change is made.
- Continue to monitor updates. Fans should check official Kentucky Athletics media channels for the latest game-day information.
Kentucky Athletics looks forward to another great game-day atmosphere in Kroger Field.

With the Keeneland Fall Meet in full swing and an exciting, busy weekend expected across Lexington, fans should plan ahead, allow additional travel time and arrive early at Kroger Field. Fans attending both Keeneland and the game are encouraged to take advantage of the Kroger Field-Keeneland shuttle connector.
Traffic and Parking Reminders
Parking permit holders should review the game day traffic reminders and preferred routes to their assigned parking lots before leaving for the stadium. Following the designated route for each lot will help traffic personnel direct vehicles efficiently.
Non-permitted and non-game day traffic should avoid the area around Kroger Field and the athletics facilities, especially Alumni Drive and Cooper Drive as those traffic patterns prioritize getting permitted cars to their designated lots.
Fans without permits may review the non-permit football parking map and consider the reserved single-game lot for $50 per vehicle or Parking Structure 6, which is free while space remains available. The reserved single-game lot is located at the William T. Young Library lots at Woodland and Columbia avenues.
Fans with a permit to park in the newly expanded Parking Structure 7 may enter and exit from Complex Drive or Sports Center Drive. Increased vehicle volume is expected around the structure, particularly on Complex Drive and Sports Center Drive. Fans should follow directions from traffic personnel and anticipate delays.
Due to construction near the UK Medical Campus, fans should avoid University Drive. Cooper Drive will close four hours before kickoff.
