Kentucky Women’s Golf Begins Season at Folds of Honor Collegiate on Golf Channel
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team – fresh off a historical postseason run – returns for a new season in 2026-27. The Wildcats, who are ranked 31st in the nation according to Golf Channel’s preseason rankings, will compete at the prestigious Folds of Honor Collegiate for the second straight season at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan, from Sept. 7-9.
UK will tee off in the first round Monday beginning at 8:15 a.m. ET off the 10th tee.
The tournament will be broadcast live each day on Golf Channel. The broadcast schedule is as follows (all times ET):
Monday, Sept. 7 – 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 8 – 9:30am-12:30 p.m.; 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 9 – 11:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m.; 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Golda Borst, who is entering her 17th season as head coach of the program, has taken what for two years was considered a young lineup, and now boasts a team full of experienced veterans. Her first lineup of the season features entirely upperclassmen, including junior C.A. Carter, senior Cathryn Brown, senior Brooke Oberparleiter, senior Samantha Paradise and junior Isabella Johnson.
Kentucky got off to a hot start at the event just a season ago, producing the individual medalist, a co-runner-up in then-junior Brown and a third-place finish as a team (+13).
The event always features a competitive field and this season is no different. The teams are as follows:

Texas A&M returns as the team champion last season, with Kentucky trailing in third place by just six shots.
Brown and Carter contributed to that team finish just a season ago, while it will mark Johnson’s, Paradise’s and Oberparleiter’s first appearance. In 2025, Brown made a late push in the final round, earning three birdies in her last four holes, including a chip-in on her last hole of the tournament, to finish co-runner-up.
Brown, an Eddyville, Kentucky, native, returns to the roster as the stroke-average leader (72.1) from 2025-26, with Carter checking in behind her at 73.7. They both were instrumental in the program reaching its seventh-ever NCAA Championship in Spring 2026, while Paradise, also competing this week, was a part of that lineup, too.
