Three Cats Honored by Pro Football Network
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky center Coleton Price, defensive back Ty Bryant and defensive lineman Tavion Gadson all hauled in preseason honors from Pro Football Network on Monday. Price was tabbed to the second-team All-America squad and the Southeastern Conference preseason first team. Bryant and Gadson were both named to the preseason All-SEC second team.
PFN lists Price as the nation’s No. 5 returning center in college football and one of Will Stein’s best offensive additions. In PFN’s offensive line impact metrics, Price earned an 87.7 impact grade during the 2025 season and was a 2024 All-Big 12 Second Team selection by the organization. Price has been a full-time starter since the 2024 season, appearing in 32 games and making 30 total starts.
During the 2025 season, he logged 842 snaps, with 526 coming in pass-block scenarios. Price allowed just one sack, six quarterback hurries and seven total pressures, while starting 11 of 12 outings. He was a cornerstone to Baylor’s offense ranking as the No. 3 passing offense in the country, the 12th-best squad in first-down offense and the No. 21 overall total offense.
Price earned second-team All-Southeastern Conference preseason honors from Phil Steele and a third-team nod from Athlon. He is on the watchlist for the 2027 Shriner’s Children’s East-West Bowl and was also named to The Rimington Trophy preseason watch list for the nation’s best center.
Gadson, who was named to the Comeback Player of the Year Award Watch List as a sophomore last season, played in 11 games with one start in 2025. He totaled 28 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries and 2.5 sacks, which was tied for the second most on the team. He made a career-high four tackles three times on the season at South Carolina, at Georgia and again vs. Texas.
He is one of the top 100 returning defensive players in the country according to On3. Gadson has also hauled in preseason All-SEC third-team honors by Athlon and he is on the watch list for the Shriner’s Children’s East-West Bowl.
Bryant was outstanding as a junior in 2025, pacing the team with 76 tackles and leading the league with four interceptions, highlighted by a two-pick performance against Ole Miss. He started all 12 games and added 2.0 tackles for loss and a pass breakup, further showcasing his all-around impact on the defense. He was named All-SEC second team for his efforts.
The Lexington, Kentucky, native was a first-team Academic All-American and is a member of the SEC Football Leadership Council and the Kentucky Student-Athlete Advisory Council. He is a preseason third-team All-SEC pick by both Phil Steele and Athlon, and he joins Price and Gadson on the watch list for the Shriner’s East-West Bowl.
