Men’s Golf Tees Off at Bermuda Run Regional on Monday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Making its return to the NCAA postseason, the Kentucky men’s golf team is set for play at the Bermuda Run Regional, where the Wildcats will join 13 other schools for a 54-hole competition this Monday through Wednesday at Bermuda Run Country Club (par 71, 7,013 yards).
The Bermuda Run Regional, hosted by Wake Forest, is one of six regionals across the country. The top five teams from each site, as well as the low individual on a non-advancing team, will move forward to finals site, Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, May 29-June 3.
After a season which included team wins at both the Colleton River Collegiate and the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational, Kentucky is making its first appearance in an NCAA regional since 2022. The Cats boast a team scoring average of 286.52 (+7.2) through 10 events this season and have scored under par as a team in eight rounds and four tournaments overall.
Ranked No. 59 in the country by Scoreboard Powered by Clippd, UK enters as the tenth seed at the Bermuda Run Regional. The Cats have head-to-head matchups with six other teams in the field, posting a combined record of 4-11 in these meetings.
Kentucky will be paired with Houston and Richmond for Monday’s first round, with tee times beginning at 8:55 a.m. off hole No. 10.
