No. 21 Kentucky Hits SEC Road for First Time
No. 21 Kentucky, riding a six-game win streak, will make its first Southeastern Conference road trip this weekend when it heads to Missouri for a three-game series. First pitch is at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, 4 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
Friday and Saturdays’ games will stream on SECN+ with Sunday on the SEC Network in UK’s first nationally televised game of the season.
The Wildcats (18-3, 3-0) are coming off a sweep of then-No. 25 Georgia last weekend and an 11-3 victory over Evansville on Tuesday night in which it scored 11 unanswered runs. In the past five games, UK has scored a total of 58 runs and had 12, 11 and 10-run unanswered stretches during that time.
Meanwhile, Missouri (9-12, 0-3) struggled at No. 1 Arkansas last week and have yet to find its footing under first year coach Kerrick Jackson. However, the Tigers have a reputation of being tough to play at Taylor Stadium in Columbia, Missouri and took two of three from Kentucky there in 2022.
