Kentucky STUNT Rolls Past Michigan State
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Kentucky STUNT team dominated Michigan State from start to finish on Sunday morning, topping the Spartans 23-7.
Kentucky (5-3) started off the first quarter, partner stunts, by winning points in each of the first three routines. The fourth routine was judged as a tie, and UK led 4-1 after one quarter.
The Cats continued to roll in the second quarter, pyramids and tosses. Kentucky claimed four points in the period, holding MSU scoreless and building an 8-1 lead at halftime.
The third quarter, jumps and tumbling, was close throughout. The teams tied on the first two routines before Kentucky took a point on the third routine. The final routine was also a tie, giving Kentucky a 12-4 lead heading into the final stanza.
Kentucky put the game away early in the fourth quarter, team routine. The Cats won all three points on the first routine and accumulated 11 points in the quarter, compared to just three for the Spartans.
