  • Kentucky is 9-16 overall and 2-9 in the Southeastern Conference in 2023-24, while Auburn is 16-8 overall and 5-6 in the conference this season.
  • The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program is in its 50th season.
    • UK has a 903-604 (.599) all-time record.

  • Kentucky trailed Auburn, 22-4, at the end of the first quarter, as UK made two of its 19 attempts from the field and AU shot 46.7 percent on 7-of-15.
  • The Wildcats picked up offense in the second quarter, improving to 37.5 percent on 6-of-16 from the field in that period, including a 3-pointer down the stretch by Cassidy Rowe.
    • The Wildcats trailed the Tigers, 40-18, at halftime.
  • Kentucky led Auburn in the third quarter, 20-17, on 63.6 percent shooting.
    • Maddie Scherr, who began the game 1-of-9 from the field, led the team in scoring in the period with seven points.
    • Kentucky trailed Auburn, 57-38, at the end of the third quarter.
  • The Wildcats started the fourth quarter with a 4-0 run, but couldn’t piece together a series larger than that down the stretch to overcome the deficit.
    • Kentucky lost at Auburn, 78-50.
