LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Women’s Golf program will head to South Carolina for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate tournament. Held at the Long Cove Golf Club (par 71, 6,220 yards) in Hilton Head, the 54-hole tournament will begin on Monday and conclude on Wednesday.

“We are looking forward to competing in the Darius again,” said Head Coach Golda Borst. “This event is genuinely one of the best tournaments in the country and I think this group will love Long Cove Golf Club. We have had a good couple of weeks of practice at home and the team is ready to get back to tournament golf!”

Kentucky will be competing against 10 teams including Southeastern Conference opponents Alabama, LSU, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

The Wildcats are coming off its most recent tournament in Orlando which resulted in a second-place team finish, with three student-athletes placing in the top four. Junior Jensen Castle set a new personal best shooting a 201 in the tournament’s three rounds of play finishing in second place individually.
