Kentucky Earns No. 9 National Seed in NCAA Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Wildcats are headed to the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship for the 12th time in program history.
 
Kentucky (14-1-4) earned the No. 9 national seed and a first-round bye in the single-elimination tournament, hosting the winner of Akron (9-5-3) and Santa Clara (11-1-4) on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

The Wildcats earned Conference USA’s automatic bid to the 48-team field with a 2-1 overtime victory over Florida Atlantic in the C-USA Championship final on Nov. 14.
 
All seating at Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex is general admission. Children ages two and under will receive free admission. All pre-purchased tickets will be available via mobile delivery. Ticket purchasers will be able to access their tickets electronically through their My UK Account or the UK Athletics App after purchase. Additional mobile ticket information may be found online at UKAthletics.com/mobiletickets. Full-time University of Kentucky students may show their valid UK student ID on match day for a free ticket courtesy of UK Athletics.
