Kentucky Football Fan Week, Presented by Clay Ingels, Set for Sept. 14-17
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The schedule has been set for Kentucky Football Fan Week, presented by Clay Ingels. Fan Week activities will take place via video conference nightly from Monday-Thursday, Sept. 14-17 at 8 p.m. ET.
All of the video conferences will be streamed live on the team’s official Twitter (@UKFootball) and Facebook (Kentucky Football) accounts.
Tom Leach, the voice of the Wildcats, and other UK Sports Network talent will host each night’s guests made up of a rotating cast of current Kentucky Football players.
Fans will have the chance to interact with the Wildcats on each night’s video conference by signing up to ask questions. Fans can sign up by filling out the form on UKAthletics.com/FanWeek.
By signing up to interact, UK fans will also be entered to win UK football-themed prizes such as signed 2020 schedule posters.
Fans will who sign up will be asked to provide questions they want UK Football players to answer, and a randomly selected few could be invited onto the video conference to ask themselves.
The goal of Fan Week, Presented by Clay Ingels is to connect the Big Blue Nation to the UK Football team as they prepare for the 2020 season while taking precautions in line with public health recommendations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because opportunities for close social interaction are limited, UK Athletics had to adjust the popular annual event to a digital-only platform, knowing we could never truly replicate an in-person Fan Day experience.
The 2020 UK football season will consist of a 10-game, Southeastern Conference-only schedule beginning Sept. 26 on the road at Auburn with Kentucky hosting Ole Miss (Oct. 3), Mississippi State (Oct. 10), Georgia (Oct. 24), Vanderbilt (Nov. 14) and South Carolina (Dec. 5) at Kroger Field this year.
